Our committees
Five committees
IAFPH builds a future-oriented, cross-disciplinary ecosystem through five core committees that integrate research, engineering, culture, policy, and industry.
1. Scientific Committee （SC）
Focuses on integrating and applying engineering technology in the fields of food and medicine.
Guides the development of technical specifications for raw material processing, functional formulas, equipment technology, quality control, etc.
Promotes the demonstration and international transformation of standardized factories, intelligent production lines, and green manufacturing systems.
The EC members include engineering experts in traditional Chinese medicine, food, biopharmaceuticals, health manufacturing, technology, and equipment; technical directors of enterprises; and standardization experts.
2. Engineering Committee （EC）
Coordinates scientific research direction, topic selection, and research standards.
Guide the development of functional components, health mechanisms, and evidence-based practices.
Organize international conferences and academic cooperation networks.
The SC consists of international experts in the fields of traditional Chinese medicine, plant science, nutrition, food science and technology, and biomedicine.
3. Policy & Regulation Committee（PRC）
Researches EU and international market regulations and policies.
Provides support for product compliance, registration pathways, and standards.
Participates in global regulatory negotiations and make recommendations on health governance.
The PRC members include public health policy experts, legal advisors, and representatives of international standards organizations.
4. Art & Culture Committee（ACC）
Promotes the visual design, iconographic development, and artistic display of medicinal food culture.
Inherits and recreates the aesthetics of Chinese medicine and non-heritage elements, as well as daily integration methods.
Promotes public awareness and cultural resonance.
The ACC members include artists, designers, museum curators, and humanities researchers.
5. Industry Committee（IC）
Builds a bridge between research and enterprises.
Promotes the integration of seed research, production, and utilization.
Supports brand building, geographical indication protection, and market development.
The IC members include entrepreneurs, investors, brand operation experts, and representatives from the agriculture and health industries.
